Lemon + Manuka Honey Lip Balm

This lip balm smells so yummy! It’s very moisturizing without being greasy. I’m happy it has a cardboard applicator so there’s no waste. My items arrived in a timely manner and I was kept updated the whole time. Very pleased. Thank you.

WHAT I LIKED: Clean ingredients. Zero aftertaste. Neither waxy nor sticky. The tube is a nice size.

WHY THIS RECIPE DID NOT WORK FOR ME: Very gritty texture. When applied to the lips (or even a finger), the skin gets covered with tiny little “balls” of some gritty substance (unsure which ingredient is responsible). Balm is also lumpy. The edges of the white cardboard get into the lip balm every time the lid is removed or replaced. Lemon a bit too strong, and I do not smell any honey. The tube label does not feel good in the hand, and feels slick, strange, and “unnatural.” Had to add a layer of Scotch tape to tighten the lid, because it slid off too easily. Moisture did not last on the lips. Was initially smooth on the top layer only, but beneath that was a different texture. Kept scraping off layers, but still gritty.

Love these lip balms because they're so chubby they cover the area around your lips where you can get fine lines that you definitely do not want and they help with that a lot besides being extremely moisturizing and smelling delicious just love them

super buttery which is what i was looking for! I do wish chapsticks came in brown or black cardboard as the white can become dingy looking depending on where you use it. I use this one before bed, but I have another I use in my purse and bring in the car and it’s a little dirty looking.

Lip balm was oilier & not as creamy than I expected, but seller was very nice and sent another one. Unfortunately, it’s the same, so this is just not the lippy for me. She did send a free deodorant … thank you!
